Service Agreement

1. Introduction

Welcome to Duty To Scoop! By engaging our services, you (“Customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions set forth by Duty To Scoop (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). For any inquiries, please contact us at malachi@dutytoscoop.com or 509‑289‑4608.

2. Service Area

We proudly serve Walla Walla and College Place, WA. Additional locations may be added in the future.

3. Services Provided

We offer pet waste removal and yard deodorizing & sanitation. Customers can select weekly, biweekly, or monthly schedules (customized schedules may be available in certain cases). To optimize costs and efficiency, routes are optimized and service days may shift accordingly. Customers do not choose specific times and may be subject to shifting service days; this enables us to keep costs down—much like a waste disposal company.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Gates must be unlocked and all obstructions removed for service access. If access is blocked, service may be skipped and you will still be charged, though we may offer to reschedule at our discretion. Pets must be secured away from the service area, especially aggressive ones. We are not liable for escaped pets due to unsecured gates or fences. Likewise, while we use sanitization protocols and safe deodorizers, we are not responsible if a dog becomes ill—some pets may have allergies or sensitivities to even pet-safe products.

5. Scheduling & Cancellations

Service days may be adjusted due to weather or efficiency needs; customers do not choose specific appointment times. To reschedule, please provide 24 hours’ notice—we may reschedule later that week or scoop double on the next visit if possible. Subscription cancellations require 48 hours’ notice before the first visit of the billing cycle to receive a full refund or credit. No refunds are provided once any visit has occurred. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours before the appointment) incur a 50% charge. No-shows—due to locked gates or pet interference—are fully charged.

6. Billing & Payments

We accept major credit cards and digital payments. Monthly subscribers are auto-billed on their signup date. A $10 late fee applies if payment is over 7 days late. No refunds are given once any visit is completed; however, if we missed something, please contact us within 24 hours.

7. Liability Limitations

We are not responsible for hidden yard hazards such as sprinklers or underground utilities, reactions to pet-safe cleaning products, wear and tear on yard surfaces, or odors from long-term waste buildup.

8. Termination of Service

Either party may terminate services at any time. We reserve the right to terminate service for rude, unsafe, or threatening behavior.

1. Eligibility & Expiration

  • Offer valid only for new Weekly or Twice Weekly service plans purchased at dutytoscoop.com.

  • Offer expires strictly on Sunday, November 30, 2025. A plan must be purchased by this date to redeem the free visits.

2. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • 48-Hour Notice Required: A full refund is available only if the subscription is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the first scheduled service.

  • Non-Refundable Conditions: No refunds will be issued under the following circumstances:

    • Cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the first scheduled service.

    • Cancellation occurs on the same day as the scheduled service.

    • The first yard cleaning visit has already been completed.
