I don’t normally leave reviews, but this is a special case. I don’t have to pick up dog poo any more! The test was mowing, after mowing no poop and no smell! I’m staying at 3x week we have Four little dogs works good. Anywho thanks for the clean yard👏❤️💪

I had Duty to Scoop come out after a long winter with two dogs freely using the backyard. I have a property that is a third of an acre, and it was the fenced backyard needing cleanup. I was ready to get my spring going! I am so glad I had them come out -- they did such a good job clearing all the dog poo and removing it from the property. It just isn't something I was going to get to and yet needed to be done. Sometimes it's worth it to pay a professional to get a job done. Communication was excellent, and the attention to detail needful and appreciated. I highly recommend Duty to Scoop!

We optimize routes for your area a day in advance to keep costs low, you can request certain days and we will do our best to work with you! We will text your phone the day/night before your services with a time of estimated arrival, and then a text before we show up. Once route is set up it will be the same days of the week every week, subject to change.

Is your service guaranteed?▶

If we miss any dog poo during our visit, or miss a spot deodorizing, we will be back there within 24 to 48 hours for FREE. We love our customers!

Do you still come in bad weather?▶

Yes, we service in rain or snow unless conditions are severe enough to cause safety concerns like cars getting stuck or road closures.

Do you send photo confirmation?▶

Yes! We send a photo of your closed gate from outside after every visit for peace of mind—so you know we're done and your dog can safely go back out.

How often should I schedule waste removal?▶

We always recommend at least weekly clean-ups.

Do I need to be home during service?▶

Nope, as long as we can access your yard, there's no need for you to be home.

How do you access my yard if I have a locked gate?▶

You'll provide gate instructions, key, or code before your first visit. If we can't access your yard, we'll knock or call. If we still can't get in, we'll need to reschedule—but you'll still be charged since there will be double the waste the following week.

What happens on the first visit?▶

We get straight to work since you'll receive texts and notices beforehand to bring your dog inside. However, if you'd like to meet me, give special instructions, or prefer to be home—I actually prefer that!

How long does a typical visit take?▶

About 15 minutes for a small yard with 1 dog, 20-25 minutes for 2 dogs, 30-35 minutes for 3 dogs, and 45-60 minutes for 4-5 dogs with a large yard. Rocks, gravel, or long grass will slow things down significantly.

Are dogs allowed in the yard when you're working?▶

No, we require dogs to be inside during our visit for safety and efficiency. This allows us to work quickly and thoroughly without distractions.

How do you dispose of the waste?▶

For one-time or bi-weekly/monthly service, we double-bag the waste and put it in your dumpster. For weekly or twice-weekly subscriptions, we haul it away and dispose of it in an eco-friendly way using eco-friendly trash bags.

Do you sanitize or deodorize the yard, or just scoop?▶

We do all three! Scooping is included, and sanitizing and deodorizing are available as add-ons for an additional charge.

What if my dog poops right after you leave?▶

We'll get it on the next visit. We only come back for free if we missed something during our scheduled visit.

What's included in the weekly service price?▶

Eco waste haul-away (we take all waste with us), eco-friendly trash bags, priority time requests over bi-weekly and monthly customers (but not over twice-weekly), and 1 free deodorizing treatment per month upon request.

What if I need to reschedule or skip a service?▶

Simply let us know 48 hours in advance, or text us for last-minute changes. If you text last minute there's no guarantee we can cancel, as we have routes optimized 1-2 days before and we've booked you instead of another customer—we'll always try to accommodate!

Do you offer one-time cleanups?▶

Absolutely! Both one-time cleanups and ongoing services are available.

How do you handle payments?▶

We accept most payment methods and bill monthly for subscriptions (cancel anytime). For one-time cleanups, we bill before service. If your cleanup exceeds 1 bucket, we add prorated charges for each additional 1/4 bucket. Please be accurate with your info (number of dogs, yard size) as additional fees apply for discrepancies. No contracts necessary!
